Before setting your grommet or eyelet, it's often helpful to make a hole first. Simply place our hole punch over your fabric and hit it with a mallet or hammer and, voila, you've got an opening for your eyelet. Be sure to place something underneath the fabric to protect the surface you're working on.
Cut holes through canvas, cloth, vinyl, cardboard, and many more materials with our different size hammer/anvil hole punches. Our largest punch (#12) is large enough to handle grommets for drapery fabrics and similar projects.
For higher volume projects you may want to consider our heavy duty press machine, and the appropriate hole punch die.
